Spring Preparation
Steady, thoughtful work helps for stronger growth
Good morning; it’s certainly been a lovely week so far!
We have re-seeded three areas of the lawn that had become a little patchy, and thankfully we’re pleased to see good germination already taking place.
A new turf path has been laid within the Peace and Tranquillity Border, creating space for future benches and quiet reflection.

Boundaries
Along the northern boundary, a new olive tree has been planted, marking the beginning of what will become a new border area in the months ahead.
Middle Pond
Work has also begun on replanting the middle pond border, starting with pampas grass grown from seed, with further planting to follow.
With the season progressing, regular lawn mowing has resumed, although some mower issues have meant we haven’t been able to cut as frequently as we would like.
We were pleased to welcome Victoria from Portchester Community School for a week of work experience, and we thank her for her time and contribution.
Finally, Beth (our apprentice) has now completed her college course and is awaiting her examinations; a significant milestone and we wish her every success!
Best Wishes,
Martin
